Located along the banks of the Elkhorn Creek in Carroll county Ohio, our mission is "Leading people to encounter Jesus Christ by providing environments that will unite and transform lives". 

You may notice the phrase “Happy Camper" or "OurHappyCampers" used on this website and on our publicity.  This is a phrase used by our culture to describe a person with who is happy with how things are going in their life.  It is our hope and prayer that this phrase take on a deeper meaning here at Elkhorn Valley.  In 1 Peter, we are told about an “inexpressible and glorious joy” which the author connects to salvation.  That is our ultimate goal at Elkhorn Valley.  It is important to us that campers and guests would enjoy themselves while they are here.  More importantly than that however, we want our programs to point these campers to salvation through Jesus Christ, and that “inexpressible and glorious joy” which can be found nowhere else!
